Want to make your own MIU MIU inspired Glitter heels? Here’s a tutorial that shows you how to.Lately i have been going gaga over glitter and sequins & what better way to make the festive season complete ,right? All you need is 2-3 hrs in hand and you can wear the heels the very next day.

Things you will need:
1.Old shoes/cheap shoes.(You can choose any,from flats to stilettos)
2.Fine Glitter.
I used Silver Glitter, you can use any other colour
(Make sure you get “Fine” glitter as it’s easier to stick)
3.Glue (“Fevicol” will work)
4.An old paint brush (I used an old makeup brush)
5.Old newspapers,a cloth & a plastic bowl to mix the glitter into.
6.Tape
7.I used a Hairspray to set the glitter.

How to go about it?
1.Make sure your table is clear.Take a newspaper and set everything according to your needs.
2.Remember that glitter is very tacky to handle,so be careful.
3.Clean your shoes.Stuff some old newspaper inside your shoes and tape the heels(if you’re not planning to paint the heels).
5.Transfer the glitter into a plastic bowl.
4.Apply the glue with the brush to a small area/part of the shoes. Then use the same brush/or take another brush to apply the glitter on to the area where you have applied the glue.Pat it carefully,do not spread it.
4.It’s better to go part by part.Always test a small area of the shoe with the glitter to make sure it sticks.
5.After you’re done with the entire shoe.Let it dry for 1 hr under the fan. Then,do the finishing touches and paint the parts that are left.
6.I used a hairspray to set the shoes in (L’oreal Elnett hairspray). You can use any kind of spray.I found hairspray to be the easiest and it works for me 🙂
7.Let the shoes dry for about 5-6 hrs under the fan.
8.Then,you’re ready to go! Wear your new Miu Miu inspired Glitter shoes and flaunt it this party season! 😀

I can’t
explain it to you in words, how sparkly these shoes are,but for some odd reason the camera doesn’t catch the sparkle.
