ReplyDeleteThe worst beauty product I've ever purchased is the biotique Kajal. It is the worst kajal I've come accross. I don't know, why they haven't stopped making it yet :\ It is the perfect example of 'looks being deceptive', It looks so black, you wear it, and within 5 mins you have black layers under your eyes. Also, it hurts the eye. I have unlimited hatred for it. :|
I recently bought an Avon eyeliner....takes ages to dry...as a result it keeps smudging even after almost half hr of applying leaving black spot all over my eye lid and under eye...hate it....

ReplyDeleteThe worst product i've ever purchased was palladio Eye Inks Eyeliner. It's a pen that has eyeliner in it and its SUPPOSED to go on like liquid, without having to dip the tip into a pot. The pen was dried out TWICE! should have taken it back and gotten my money back. Total waste on a good concept.

I ordered it and the day i got it and tried it on -- Boy-oh-Boy --- It broke!! can you believe?? I mean seriously!! It did not serve it's purpose at all! Avon products are really good but the Glimmerstick is a huge dissapointment!

The L'Oreal 'Total Repair 5'shampoo and conditioner is the worst product I have ever bought. It was supposed to repair the 5 signs of hair damage -Hairfall, Dryness, Roughness, Dullness and Split ends. After the much hyped Aishwarya Rai Ad and tall claims I was really looking forward to use it since my month long illness had left my hair brittle and dull. I found that it does nothing that it claims, In fact my hair felt dry and frizzy after its use and its conditioner made my hair fall flat and limp. :( I still used it for a couple of times to notice if there is any difference but in vain. It is a very average product.

Which is the worst beauty product that you have ever purchased & Why?
Revlon Just Bitten Lip Stain.
Dried out in about 2 days, very dark pigmentation on some area of the lips, not long lasting at all and ends up leaving spots with no colour and the balm on one end seems to snap off about 50% of the products. Cap constantly falls off in my bag:)
I’m just curious to see if there are any notoriously bad products/brands out there.
Personally, I can’t stand cheap, chalky eyeshadows!
avon lipsticks.....never stay for long....makes my lip dry and the whole pallet becomes soggy if not kept in a refrigerator !!

ReplyDeleteThe worst product I purchased (with lots of hopes) was Loreal Total Repair Five Shampoo + Conditioner, it shouted out loud about the benefits etc. and the types of problems it will deal with.I used the shampoo for a whooping month, but by the end of the day all I got was just silky texture.It did nothing to my flaking,dry scalp and of course the major problem "hair fall"

The first and the worst beauty product that I have purchased till now is avon's maskara, it was one of my most regretful choices I have ever made, i purchased it for the sake of price, at that point of time I was not aware about what qualities one needs to check before buying a product, its smell was awful, didn't have long lasting effect, and worst part it spreads around eye within 1 or 2 hours....

Hey! Wow....this a tough one....but at the top of my head...I think it wid be the revolt kajal....it looked very enticing so I picked it up cuz it was very dark and smooth in application. I'm an avid user of the Mac engraved kajal but thought I could try this one out too...but this hardly lasted me a week or so...cuz whenever I used it,I had to sharpen again for next use and by sharpening and resharpening every single day, the pencil almost disappeared , in a week's time!!! Since then on I have decided to do any impose buys and always go by tried and tested products!!!!

I am a real crazy girl for lip gloss. So i collect them n as well as use them like a maniac ! lately i got Lakme Lip Gloss which actually paid me real hard not in money aspect but on my lip ! It was so worsening that my lip got dry and had marks on the edges . This was my worst experience with any cosmetic and made me realize to choose cosmetics with an eagle eye.

ReplyDeleteThe worst beauty product that I purchased was a Gold Lip Gloss by Lakme. I was a kid at the time and had bought it as a gift for my mom! But it ended up being with me itself! It looked really bad. Applying glitter with glue on the lips would have been better.

Well one of the worst products I bought was many of those Indian hair oils that don't work like Keo karpin etc. It just sits on your hair and itches a lot plus contains lots of chemicals which aren't good for the hair .
I love Parachute coconut oil , it works well and makes the hair strong . Don't fall for any other except the real thing .

I don't use a lot of make-up but skin and hair care products,yes.I have very dry,rough frizzy hair.So,I decided after trying umpteen shampoos and conditioner to buy Shwarzkopf shampoo and conditioner which was by far most expensive amongst all that I had already bought.It didn't help me at all!I regretted wasted my money on it because all tall claims by beauty 'experts' in salons fell flat :|

Worst beauty product ever has to be this Garnier Shampoo for strong hair.As soon as I used it that very day my hair began to fall drastically,I thought maybe its cuz of the sudden shampoo change.But even after a month by hair just wouldnt stop falling.The wisest decision I made was to switch to loreal intense repair shampoo.
