Layering

It's getting warmer here in Mumbai,India.Of course, what could have one expected? Recently  it was colder so thought of wearing something that i wouldn't usually wear here.Just took some advantage of the slightly colder weather .The "Collar trend" is literally everywhere this season & layering a shirt under a sweater helps to put the collar under the spotlight.

-Layering helps to cover up your flaws.Wide hips,big chest,heavy arms etc.

- That doesn't mean you should wear something boxy or shapeless.Layer smartly.

-Layers add dimensions to the outfit thus making it more interesting.

- Colour combinations play a key role here & if you choose the right colours,the results will be perfect.

-Here,i chose a shirt with cute heart designs on it and layered it with a bright blue sweater.The heart print shirt helps to add some pattern to the boring outfit & the bright blue sweater adds colour.

-Sweater + shirt is a great combination if you live in a colder place.You can also wear a denim shirt inside & pair it up with a polka dotted sweater (Polka dotted sweater will add a feminine touch to the rugged denim shirt- Opposites attract,you don't want too much of one thing!).Don't forget to role your sleeves up.

-As the "Collar trend" is pretty much everywhere this season,this type of layering helps to make the collar seem prominent.

Nevertheless i am in love with both of these lovely tops.I have worn this heart print shirt & the sweater a billion times.Love how this sweater is oversized &  asymmetrical. But it does tend to get disfigured easily.
