BIRD-SONG-INDIA

The Birdsong cafe is located behind the good old “American express bakery” in Bandra West, Mumbai.  A tiny lane with a graffiti all over the walls leads you to a little house located in the residential colonies of Bandra. French windows, chalkboards & doodles are some key points that makes this little cafe stand out. Though the cafe isn’t as big, the beautiful french windows & ample amount of sunlight makes it look wider than it really is. The staff were sweet enough to reserve a place for us although we we’re late.

The view at this cafe isn’t the best but the interiors makes up for it. The Birdsong cafe boasts of serving organic food & we were quite thrilled to try it out! While i ordered a “Aglio Olio Pasta (Fusili) with tomato Mushroom & Basil”, my friend went for “Chichen Rissotto” & their well known “Hot Chocolate”.

The hot chocolate arrived in 15 minutes and took about 30 minutes for the food to arrive. No doubt, the hot chocolate was heavenly & Birdsong cafe is definitely my 2nd favourite place to indulge in some sinful cocoa!

(Want to know which place takes the 1st place? Take a guess!)

The food surpassed my expectations. Every morsel, every bite i took was delicious! Although i have been to some of the best & well known cafes/restaurants around Mumbai, I haven’t had something so beautiful in years. The quantity was more than enough to keep you stuffed up for hours. My friend couldn’t finish his food as it was more than he asked for which is a good thing as you can always share it with your friends.

The Birdsong cafe is Instagram/Selfie friendly with beautiful ambience, delicious organic food and hot chocolate.

Would i recommend this place? A BIG yes from me !
