Like any other normal human being, i go through my own struggles but i have learnt to cope with it in a special way. When we go through a break-up, lose our job or say experience some major loss in our lives, we tend to think that the entire world stops. You feel like your life has fallen apart but hey did you know that there’s a ray of sunshine waiting for you at the other end?

Here are 4 ways you could jump back & be the best version of yourself:

THE WORLD WON’T STOP FOR YOU

When we’re sad or going through a tough time, we often tend to think that the world has come to an end. While you’re going through a struggle there are times when we just ignore the fact that there is something called tomorrow. Time truly heals your wounds. People move on & life happens.

EXPERIENCE MAKES YOU STRONGER

When someone hurts you , take it as an experience. Agreed, the initial reaction would involve deep amount of sadness & a feeling of betrayal.

However, once you try to move on, take the experience as a case study. Learn from it.

Think about the little mistakes you made or think about how you can improve yourself as a person. Every time i had a fight with someone/ made mistakes, i learnt something from it. Though it was difficult for me to to digest at first, i got used to it.

TURN NEGATIVE INTO POSITIVE

There’s a lot of difference being positive from within & portraying positivity for the benefit of others. When it comes from within, you truly feel content. If someone’s having a bad day & affecting you, don’t let that bring you down. This is what i usually do, i take it as a challenge to cheer the other person up! You don’t have to go out of your way but try to make someone happy. However, don’t let someone steal your shine!

SOCIAL MEDIA IS A FILTER

When you’re going through a tough time, you often browse Facebook /Twitter or Instagram and come across cheerful photos of your friends/strangers drinking, posing at parties, madly in love or they talk about their successful new ventures. As much as you want to be happy for them, it hurts. It hurts because you aren’t ready to accept it. Remember that everything that people post on social media are just highlights of their lives. It’s just the good parts & the negative side to is hidden from the rest of the world. Like you, people might be going through a tough situation but they may not post it, as social media is way through which you build your image to make it seem more positive.

Remember that everyone has their bad days but what you see on social media is just 10% of their filtered lives. Why do you think instagram exists!

HOW DO YOU STAY HAPPY?
